Top knit tips
These slippers are for use on carpet only. If you wish, you can add squiggles of puffer paint to the soles to give grip, then they will be safer for wooden or tile floors.
These slippers are constructed similarly to a typical baby's bootee pattern. Starting at the top you work the leg section first. You then work solely on the centre nine stitches to create the top of the foot. Don't worry, the pattern has simple instructions for how to do this! Your last row of this section will be the toe. Stitches are then picked up along each side of the foot to pull the slipper into shape.
