What you need to know

Have a go at knitted bobbles with Carol Bateup's simple knitting pattern

The nights are drawing in and the central heating has been switched on, but there's nothing cosier than curling up under a blanket with a hot water bottle and a cup of cocoa. Use DK yarn from your stash to create a bright cover for your hottie with simple knit and purl stitches, but add in a challenge and get to grips with making interesting bobbles as well. Use a different colour to knit each bobble. Hot water bottle covers also make great Christmas gifts. Download the knitting pattern today.
