What you need to know

Create your own magical wizard doll with this knitting pattern from Val Pierce.

A long time ago, in a faraway land, witches and wizards used to dazzle kings and queens with an array of spells, potions and creatures. Our wise wizard doll Roger was one of the greatest, with a few cheeky tricks up his sleeve. Fans of Merlin, Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings will all love this characterful toy from Val Pierce, knitted in soft yarns and embellished with celestial buttons.

What do I need?


Yarn: YarnCraft DK, shade 109 Regal, shade 105 Flash, one 100g ball of each, Bergere de France Plume, shade 24760 Papier, one 50g ball
Needles: 4mm, 5mm
Buttons: novelty celestial, two packs; black, small, two
Piece of dowel
Ribbon: silver
