Must Visit: John Arbon Open Weekend

To celebrate the arrive of their new spinning machine, the family-run business is opening its worsted spinning mill in South Molton to the public on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th May. Entry is free and the mill will be open from 10am-5pm both days.

The mill is one of the few of its kind still operating in the UK, and the event will give people the opportunity to learn about the mill’s machinery along with the company’s style of vintage spinning. If that wasn’t enough, there will be cakes and refreshments available, and a half price Yarn, Tops and Socks sale, so you can even get your hands on a knitty bargain!

Guided tours of the mill will be taking place, and John Arbon himself will be on hand to answer any questions you may have about his gorgeous yarns.
