A big chunky blanket like this might seem like a big undertaking, but in fact, it is a very easy project as you just pick it up a square at a time. It's good for beginners too as you can take it at your own pace and you just learn one stitch at a time or practice stripes and colour changes - it's really useful for learning bits and pieces along the way, and all in a manageable and bite-sized piece.
