Changing colours on a diagonal

To shape the spots, you will need to add an extra stitch in green on each side.

  • Changing colours on a diagonal - Step 1

    Step 1

    To the right: Work to the required point in blue. Using the green bobbin, bring the yarn from under the blue, then take it over the top of the blue strand to purl the stitch.

    Step 2

    To the left: Work to the required point in green. Using the original blue bobbin, take the yarn under the green and purl the stitch.

    Step 3

    To the right: Knit to the required point in blue. Using the green bobbin, bring the yarn from under the blue, then take it over the top of the blue strand to knit the stitch.

    Step 4

    Knit to the required point in green. Using the blue bobbin, bring the yarn from under the green and knit the stitch.
