Top Knit Tips
It's not easy to count rows when working with this type of yarn so do mark down where you are in the pattern as you knit.
Romeo is worked entirely in garter stitch.
Sensible stuffing: Make sure to choose the right type of stuffing. If you're knitting something washable like Romeo, use a polyester stuffing. Pure wool stuffing will shrink and felt when it gets wet, so the toy will lose it's shape. Be sure not to use too much as overstuffing the toy can make it quite hard. To do this, pull away small handfuls of stuffing, hold it lightly and pull the fibres apart with your fingers before putting it into the toy. To keep the stuffing even, gently push what's already inside the toy to the edges, and add additional stuffing to the middle.
