What you need to know

Knit an cute and cosy baby wrap cardigan for ages 0-2 years, designed by Abi Flynn

This cute cardy by Abi Flynn-Jones is knitted sideways and is cleverly constructed to leave as few seams as possible to
sew up at the end. The pattern starts at the right front edge, and increases are then worked on one side to create the
sloping neck edge of the right front wrapover panel. With stitches left on a holder for the sleeve opening, the back is
worked as a continuation of the front, and the work is then decreased to create the left front wrap. Stitches are then picked up for each sleeve to be worked in the round. The neck and bottom edge are finished with faux i-cord edges to complement the i-cord ties.
