Top knit tips
Don’t be put off by the use of yarn overs before and after slipped stitches in this pattern as it’s much easier than you think. On Rows 1, 3 and 5, make sure the yarn over needle is worked over the top of the two slipped stitches. On Rows 7, 9 and 11, work the yarn round needle over the top of the slipped stitches and back between the needles to the front.
You can use any animal fibre yarn for this pattern to make the most of the insulating properties.
