Zara the Camel has had enough of the desert, so she's coming to yours for plenty of fun! She's full of character and is pretty straightforward to knit. Although there is a fair bit of shaping, the stitches used are really simple. Take extra care when sewing the seams and embroidering the face as this is what will give your toy a really professional finish and make it a perfect gift.
What do I need?
Yarn: Sirdar Country Style DK, shades 648 Pecan Pie, one 50g ball, 643 Blue Blush, 629 Summer Blossom, 402 Cherry, 417 Black, oddments of each
Needles: 4mm
Crochet hook: 4mm

Tapestry needle
Sizing
32cm tall
Top knit tips
When stuffing the legs, fill firmly and make sure you push plenty of stuffing into the feet as these need to be quite large.
If you can’t crochet, make a plait for the great reigns instead.
Don’t cut the yarn after every stripe when knitting the cloth, simply carry the yarn not in use up the side of the work so you have fewer ends to sew in.
