Top knit tips
When you are knitting a diamond brocade, the goal is to create an impressive pattern of slightly raised stitches. As the name suggests, the raised stitches should form interlocking diamond shapes. Take care not to lose your place in the pattern as a wrong sequence will ruin your motif. If in doubt, count your stitches from the beginning of the row and if you make a mistake unpick it as it will definitely show.
Remember to measure your cafetière before you get started. You don’t want to wait until the end of your project to find out that it is too big or too small for the cosy!
