Top knit tips

To make your own pom-pom, cut out two cardboard circles, then cut out a small slice and a small hole in the middle of each piece. Place a piece of yarn between the two cardboard circles ensuring there is enough length for an end to be hanging out of either side. Wrap your yarn around the circle, remembering that the more yarn your wrap the denser your pom-pom will be. Finally, cut in between the two circles of cardboard holding onto the ends of the yarn you placed between them and tie the ends into a secure knot before removing the cardboard pieces. If some lengths are longer than others, you may need to trim your pom-pom.

Pin the individual pieces to the cushion to ensure you get the correct placement.
