Top knit tip
In this pattern the process of making a loop is written using the abbreviation ‘ML’. To begin, knit one stitch, but instead of slipping that stitch off your left hand needle, bring your yarn between your needles and to the front of your work. Next, take the yarn under and over your left thumb, then between the needles and to the back of your work. Finally, knit the same stitch on your left hand needle again and pass the second stitch on your right hand needle over the first stitch.
