Crochet a scene from the nutcracker with Sarah-Jane Hicks' Christmas amigurumi crochet pattern
In our Christmas in July Mini Mag, we brought you two fab, festive mice to crochet. Finish your collection with Sarah-Jane Hicks' nutcracker duo. The amigurumi Christmas mice crochet pattern can be downloaded today and made using small amounts of DK from your yarn stash.
In this part of our Merry Mice collection, you’ll make two wintry mice; a fairy and Nutcracker. You’ll be using simple double crochet stitches with increases and decreases. Note where you’re instructed to work in the back or front loops.
Embroidery is key with our dapper gent. Create coat fastenings with straight stitches and French knots, plus a feather on his hat with some angled stitches. We love his dinky epaulettes too! For the fairy, you’ll get to play with a variegated yarn but you can use solid shades too. See what’s in your yarn stash or head to your local yarn shop.
Don't forget to save your PDFs to your computer or tablet device as soon as it has been downloaded.
