Knit a feast of Christmas treats with Susie Johns' cute and easy DK knitting patterns

Christmas is a time to eat, drink and be merry, so we’re celebrating some of our favourite treats in our latest knitalong. Over the next six weeks, we’ll be bringing you patterns for all the items in this basket, starting with the starry mince pie and the mug of hot chocolate - complete with cute marshmallows on the top! Finish your yummy delights with beady eyes and smiley mouths to up the cuteness factor.

Hot Chocolate: 12cm wide (incl handle) x 10cm tall (incl marshmallows)
Yule Log: 13cm long x 6cm deep
Bundt Cake: 16cm diameter x 6cm tall
Christmas Cake: 12cm long x 10cm tall
Christmas Pudding: 8.5cm diameter x 10cm tall
Gingerbread Man: 19.5cm wide x 22cm tall
Candy Cane: 17.5cm tall (when curved)

Yarn: Cascade Yarns 220 Superwash DK, shades (A) 1961 Camel, (B) 863 Cordovan, (C) 862 Walnut Heather, (D) 871 White,
(E) 263 Gold Fusion, (F) 848 Blueberry, (G) 809 Really Red, (H) 802 Green Apple, (I) 817 Aran, one 100g ball of each, Black DK, small amount
Needles: 3mm
Craft foam
Safety toy stuffing
Sewing needle and black thread
Safety toy eyes or buttons: black, two per project
Ric-rac: 40cm
Pipe cleaners: 20cm long, three
Stitch holder
Tapestry needle
