Stuart runs a small bricks and mortar yarn and fabric shop in Long Melford, Suffolk, and hosts The Woolpatch YouTube channel. He opened the shop in September 2016 after 16 years in the teaching profession. Over the last five years he has learned to knit, crochet, sew and quilt, and has also developed his own yarn line called ‘The Lavenham Blue Collection’, using sheep local to the shop.

June has been a knitting designer and teacher for many years. Since 2011 she has organised and run The British Wool Show, and was an international ambassador for the British Wool Marketing Board, visiting Japan in 2006. An exhibition of her work has been hosted at the Bankfield Museum in Halifax, and she has worked for many big name brands and knitting magazines.

Lynne Rowe

Lynne is a freelance knitting and crochet designer, technical editor and author. She says she can't imagine a day without picking up her needles or hook and creating something fab and funky! The author of Fairytale Blankets to Crochet and Once Upon A Time in Crochet launched her Crochet Tech Editing Masterclass e-course in 2020, which teaches the essentials of tech editing and was a way for Lynne to pass on her skills and experience to others who write their own patterns. She currently has two knitting books in the works and is a regular and much-loved designer for our Let's Knit and Let's Get Crafting titles, she says "I’m delighted to be a part of Aceville's judging panel for their prestigious Knitting and Crochet Awards!"
