You know it's going to be a brilliant day when the first thing you see when you get up it as beautiful as this!
While I would gladly wave goodbye to the rain clouds in favour of sunshine – it is hard to stay gloomy when the raindrops that are left behind look this lovely!
Green definitely top of my fave-colours-of-the-moment list– it really is lush, in every sense of the word! Speaking of green, that is the colour of the yarn that I have been working the Baby Surprise Jacket in. Well, here’s the surprise… my new nephew arrived on Wednesday, a little earlier than expected! Welcome Miles Thomas – I can’t wait to meet you! (Oh bobbins!! The BSJ is only half done must, must, must get this finished!)
Tomorrow I head off to the South of France to enjoy a weeks Knitting Retreat – and what a treat it will be! The programme boasts a wide selection of workshops with knit designers Jean Moss and Sasha Kagan. Slight oversight, I haven’t packed yet. Have I got everything? Passport- check! Toothbrush- check! Knitting-check! What else could I possibly need?!
