Well, who doesn't when it's this cute?!
I know what you’re thinking, ‘Isn’t this a knitting blog?!’ The answer is ‘Yes, yes and thrice yes’ So why all the crochet FOs? Well, the next issue of Let’s Knit, on sale 13th June, comes with a FREE set of bamboo hooks and a fab book packed with projects, so I guess us folks at LK HQ have come down with crochet fever!
Amigurumi is the most satisfying crochet that I have tried. Some of these little beauties can be whizzed in no time at all, I even managed to make up the pattern for this little apple chap as I went along. Trouble is it’s super addictive...I now want to make an entire fruity cocktail of these mini fellas!
So, what’s next on the knitting needles?
Mmmhhh! Tricky, it’s been a while since I had nothing cast on (clearly I’m ignoring a couple of pesky UFO that are in hibernation!!) Not really sure what to work on next....
Socks - It’s feels like forever since the DPNs had an outing and I have a delicious skein of alpaca calling to me from my stash.
Garment - The last full-sized knit I made for myself was a grey tank top, which I adore and wear heaps, but maybe it’s time for some thing new and perhaps a little more challenging to make!
Lace – I quite fancy trying my hand at something really delicate and feminine- I love the Elanah shawl in LK Issue 7.
Ohhh! So much to knit so little time!!
