When I was younger I tried to crochet my first square and ended up with (what we will call for the sake of decorum) a finger cover. Anybody else with first time stories.

I can’t really remember my first projects as I was so young. I just remember making clothes for my dolls and wandering around the adults section in our local library loooking for knitting books. Luckily I was a very good reader as a child or I would never have made what I did!

A red scarf.  I don’t remember ever wearing it, but that was my first finished garment, aged 6.
