Hi! My name’s Fergus and I’ve recently started to learn to knit.

We were taught in school when I was 7 but I attempted to cast off myself and cut the knitting off the needles, needless to say it unraveled. Since then I haven’t taken up needles.

Yesterday while in town I came across your magazine and bought it and was blown away by the patterns. At the moment I’m planning on knitting a beanie for myself and aim to do socks at some stage. Looking forward to the next issue.

Hi Fergus...a big welcome to the site and I hope to see a picture of your beanie very soon......but please cast it off when you are finished and not cut it off the needles....very disastrous
