Hi Gill AGAIN
How long were you in the army?I am still in the TA.I am in the engineers though was in the Signals. That was where I met my partner who was a Reg.Only saying tonight how you meet someone when not looking and I was so not looking.I transfered when i got my civvi 360 excavator ticket.Just seen your reply to my tissue box pattern search. You are right I am just being lazy. When I first started knitting I couldn’t read patterns so the first thing I did was design my own cardi.I am off now as I keep getting interrupted by “Babes how cool does this look"to the eyes he has sewn on the dog puppet and the tongue he told me to put in.I think he is gutted I made it too small for his big hands.Good job or the grandson wouldn’t be getting birthday present.By the way ex’s nan worked in Nottingham lace think still have a bag of it somewhere though I am a terrible chucker not hoarder.
TTFN.Take care.

I was only in myself for just over 2 years because I met “HWN” and in those days you got thrown out for audacity of getting married!!!!!! But then I was a army wife for another 6 years till his nibs got fed up of all the faff and fuss that the NEW army got to be and he came out.

You know what your fella would like for XMAS now tongue wink

Hello Gill

Nice to hear from you!  Sorry I didn’t get back to you last night as I was trying to put myself on the frapper map, but had to give way gracefully to my other half to do it for me.  Boo Hoo!  I ‘m not sure if you will get this personally as unsure of what to click on!!  I think I will stick to crafting. smile ooh er I think I just did a smiley!!!!!  Nice to meet you.  I taught in Calverton for a short while at the Sir John Sherbrooke school. ( I think it was Sherbrooke!) byeeee

I went to the Margaret Glen Bott school. She was a doctor and I seem to remember her being my grans Dr.

I started school at the one at the Beechdale Drive bridge but for the life of me I cannot remember the name of it, I know it is still there and it is a mans name confused
I also went to school on St Annes Well Rd. before it was altered and recently found that my first boyfriend is still around from there as I looked on the Friends Reunited and there he was!!!!!!...I did not go any further. I think after over 40years who would be the most disappointed??????  hmmm grin him probably wink

Anyone near me?I said in another post i was in March Cambs, wondered if anyone was near me or heard of it?

Yes!  I’m just down the road, in Whittlesey, for the time being - probably moving soon (again! I think this will be about the 25th time and I’m only 33...), with luck to the coventry area as the boyfriend is living there at the moment.

Ayrshire..Scotland…
and we’re having all the sunshine this summer.  Four wet days in six weeks....not bad.  Mind you it means getting the watering can out every night but that’s worth it for a bit a summer weather. Can’t believe how quickly the months are going past...our kids here in Scotland start their summer hols in two weeks time...so what difference will that make you ask....well friends..that is when the rain will commence and will last for six weeks. confused
