Of course if you knitted one it could be as funky as you like??????????????????
Here’s another idea - this bag is made up of bits and pieces of oddments left from the things I’ve knitted for my Granddaughter Abi.
I started knitting a 4inch tension square to experiment with a stitch, then another, then another.... then - hey presto after a while had so many in the bottom of my knitting basket by my chair (some people have a log basket or magazine holder - I have a big knitting basket, but that doesn’t stop things creeping across the floor and onto other bits of furniture, ha ha!) I started stitching them all together, I was going to make a bath mat but wandered off on a tangent, sewed the sides together, then did some ribbing round the top and lined it with leftover furnishing calico; using a couple of folded strips for the handles. No cost, all scraps, just time used.
So many ideas so little time… good luck everyone who’s experimenting.
How’s the felting experiments
going Nicky?
Love the bag Jane...it’s great. Does it matter if your squares are all done in different kinds of yarn..I have so many small pieces in my knitting bag that would probably only knit small squares. (sent you a wee pm)
