This is the great thing about wraps and shawls - guage isn’t vital, so as long as your needles and yarn work well together, you can go for anything you fancy!

Personally, I’m thinking of using some homespun i bought in Tunisia, but why not try something from http://www.thenaturaldyestudio.com/ - this stuff is HEAVEN to work with.

Or if you’re on Ravelry, you can look up the pattern and see what other people have used.

Why don’t we all start off with a guage swatch to see how our yarn looks when it’s knit up? - edit 20/05 - i forgot i’d suggested this - clearly i’m too impatient to swatch!

I started with the yarn I’d intended for this, but it wasn’t working out so I ordered some from the natural dye studio.

Cast on again yesterday and here’s my progress so far:
