Let's Knit Magazine - Your knitting, your style

Hi all - sorry - I’m a newbie to this site and already asking a question!

In Lets Knit Issue 6 on page 86 there is a multicolour yarn in the bottom left hand corner.  Is this an actual yarn - or several yarns just mixed together - and if it is real - does anyone know what it is?  I neeeeeeeed it!!

It is an actual yarn not several strands together and I agree it is very pretty but alas I don’t know what it is. sorry.

I think King Cole do something similar.

I think thats’ a beautiful yarn too and I hace scoured the internet for it, without success, so hopefully Laura will know.

I think after looking in my little book that this yarn is KATIA SAMBA it is new for 2008 rrp £4.03 100% cotton machine wash at 30 and comes in 50gr balls.  Hope this is it

PS..IT COMES IN 8 DIFERENT COLOUR WAYS.

Sorry girlies it was a freebie with one of the other knitting mags( knit today) but dont tell them upstairs!!!!!! and as I am a hoarder I thought it would come in handy. SO to all those folk who tell me I have too much STUFF. Noone on t,forum though

sniff sniff.  Oh well I suppose I would just get all upset at all that beautifullllll yarn and not being able to own it.

l;paca, 4ply by ARTESONO £3.50 50gr ball hand wash.  ......OR..Filatura DOLCE AMORE PRINT...100o;tton 50gr balls hand wash.....but I was going by the colours in the mag.

I’m afraid we don’t actually know what that yarn was - the picture came from an agency rather than having it taken in-house and we’re unable to get the photographer’s details to find out. However, I’ve had a look around and there are a few similar yarns available…

They are all listed as being in dollars but this is just a feature of the site, I’ve checked and they’re all either based in the UK or can ship to the UK.

Regia’s Nation sock yarn is another brightly coloured yarn - colours 5398 and 5399 are especially bright.
