I have thoroughly enjoyed looking through this section at all the super garments and toys that have been made.
WELL DONE to you all.

I wish I could do bigger garments but unfortunately since I broke my wrist and arm last year I cant hold anything too heavy nor can it be too complicated because I drop the needle out of my left hand now.
Having said that I am far better than many of my age and I will still have a go at knitting even if its just small garments.
This below is what I knitted to get my arm moving again. I had a stash
of yarn left in a suitcase from about eight years ago and decided to mix and match patterns to make this set. My mobile hairdresser saw it and asked me if she could buy it for her new grandson due to be born this month. As it was really a practise set I told her she could have it. Not sure if the photos will come on or if I have to submit one
first.

These are great Maywalk...and those boots are certainly ‘made for walking’ wink and just set the jacket and pants off.

Many thanks Oma and Nicky.
I forgot to show the back of the jacket because I put a little half belt on it.

what a gorgeous set Maywalk, the red trim just sets it off, and as for the belt on the back, well, that is fantastic finishing. Your hairdresser must have been thrilled.

Many thanks Suse.
Liz (hairdresser) couldn’t wait to see her daughter to give it to her. grin

I have started to knit some now and putting them into a big box.
I call it the request box and anyone who needs a little gift for a new baby can pick something from it. My lovely d-i-l came at the weekend and asked me if I had a little set for her next door neighbour who was due to have her baby this week. I let her have the one in the photo.

Many thanks Silvi and Cheryl.
I wish I had as many pounds as garments I have knitted over the past 60odd years.  grin
I would be a millionaress by now.
Having said that money doesn’t buy your health or the love of your family and although I am not the fittest old biddy I do have a wonderful family and friends.
I am well blessed in that direction.
Enjoy your day.

God Bless.
Maywalk.

You will have to start one Suse.  wink
It need not just be for babies. You can knit for all ages. Its nice to be able to take something from it for someones birthday or a new arrival.
