Thanks for all the info Nicci. Is Holmfirth a big place, cause I’v been looking for accomodation but I’m not sure how far the b&b;’s are from the Mill, don’t want to go to far out so I have to pay for a taxi each day. I haven’t even start to found out about transport to get there yet.

Hey I was going to become a member of Rowan and I was just founding out about it and there’s something about introducing a friend so I’ll put your name down and you could get a free book or something I think. Not sure what details i’ll need so I’ll get back to you on that one.

We have two boys and a girl Tallon was 8 back in march, Lily is 6 and Flynn 3, 4 in May.

ok it’s back to searching for transport and B&B;’s I’m getting really excited I better hurry up or there be no spaces left on the course.

You are getting me really excited also. Good luck Travel serching I think I need to book my b and b .

Hay I forgot about that intraduce a friend that would be Fantastic also you might get something off as well. So that would be brill for both of us. Also you will get about £20 of your course I paid on the phone £56 but when i went on line it said £60. So check before you pay for the course.

The two that I have given you Ash House and Blue Door no taxi needed as 1/4 mile and less than a 1/4 from the mill. The other two are 1 mile which I would say is walkable as I did it from the town to my B an B Blue Door last year. About 20 mins took.

Ahhh your little ones are little. Are they good mine are but have there moments. But I love them. Will miss them loads that night at holmfirth.

No Holmfirth is not that big. Last of the Summer Wine was set there really picturesque. And the mill even more.

It is ok I do not mind helping even if you do not go or are unable to I did not mind at all.

So the best places are Ash House which I am gone to try more rooms there and Blue door. No taxis needed at all and not far at all form the mill. Just Right.

Good luck finding your travel and with getting rowan membership. Need me at all just ask
Take care love Nicci xxxxxxx

Nicci just been checking transport coach is cheapest but can only take me to huddersfield. How far is this from holmfirth.

I’ve been having a chat with hubby and depending on what accomodation I can get depends on whether I can go or not.
I’ve emailed the blue door but they’re closed at the moment and will get back to me asap, is the one for ash house summerwineclassic.co.uk cause i couldn’t get that to come up

The kids are pretty mad and they don’t sit down for 5 mins but generally they’re good like yours they have there moments. Like Flynn is now he’s had some late nights cause they’re on school holidays but I think it’s time to get back to normal routine as he’s pretty whingy.

Hi Knitter Natter Only just got back on computer Owen has been on he is off school but has felt better so let him go on. Now he is back on sofa. Know he is ill as he is quiet and very still.

But I know what you mean about keeping costs down especially if you are going for three days. I have the number for buses to get from Huddersfield to Holmfirth. But the bus stops are right outside the train station and I was told last year that they are every few minutes and that it takes about 10 15 mins to get to holmfirth.

Thanks Gill for helping out. I am a bid like you on sick bag front
Got go hes home talk later.

Hi Nicci, It’s £53 by coach but it will taken something like 13 hours, stoping at London for 1.5 hours. Not sure i could cope with that. Now talking about driving would only take about 4.5 hours plus stopping time just not sure if my little sparky (That’s the car) would make it.

Oh i know what you mean I could not cope with that. bring little sparky i would love to meet HER OR HIM?  also you could prob travel up early sat morning and go home sunday after course at 4 4.30 So it will be cheeper on b and b. So money you save on b and b those nights and put coach fair and taxi to holmfirth from huddersfiels and same again back on Monday I bet it would not cost all that in Pertol.

Wow can you drive that is cool I tried it when younger then older but driving instructer went for operation on knee and I then fell pregers with george.

I hope little Sparky would make it it would be good to meet Sparky

I really hope you and Sparky can make it.

HOW IS YOUR BACK TODAY I HOPE THAT IT IS A LITTLE BETTER.

Take care must go Owen at toilet needs me still not well.

HI girls just been reading your post on the fare for your trip...you would be better to drive.  the petrol is cheaper if you go off the motorway into local TESCO etc. You are going WAY out of your way to go via LONDON you are putting MILES onto the journey and you want to be able to enjoy your “socking” after all. don,t forget, you can stop when you like ...such as when you need to “go” but the coach only stops about once.
