Is anyone out there planning on going to the Wonderwool Wales Festival on the 26th and 27th of this month? Would be good to meet some members!

where abouts in wales is it?? i would quite like to go, but living in liverpool i could probably only make it to north wales-ish.

It’s at the National Show Ground in Builth Wells, a long way from Liverpool but not so far from Mid Glamorgan. I want to try my hand at spinning, I live in an area with so many sheep and so many farmers who get a pittance for their wool that I would love to do something with this resource.
The Mid Wales Mouthful festival of food and drink is on at the same time, with any luck the other half will get sozzled and not notice the goodies I come away with tongue wink

I’m sure you could, there will be beefy farmers there so he won’t feel like its a girly thing, and if you scout around on the web you’ll be able to find something close to it which suits him too ( good pub, fishing, bike shop, golf course or whatever floats his boat.)

yeah...we’ve got a new car she loves driving so i might be able to talk her into it that way!

there’s the food thing too so that might convince her.

I would have liked to have stayed down but I think that would be a step too for for my significant other. In the evening they are having a bit of a party and a hog roast. Have a look at the web site:
