I’ve got my daughters poncho on the go but i’m a bit stuck at the moment so awaiting some help which could be with me shortly, so i’ve started a shawl or throw what ever you call it. I started with 1 stitch and will end up with 400. I had a target, I wanted to have 200 stitches on my needles by Wednesday, well i’ve already reach my target so now I want to have 250 by Sunday but each row is taken me quite some time now. I could do with some nicer neddles, looking into buying some addi turbo,s.

I have just visited knitcrazy’s link on the weird knitting post and have spotted a link for some star wars charts and stuff on there. Please dont ask me cut and paste links etc as i wouldnt know where to start. I can just about click on them and find my way back. I clicked on the “some weird knitting” thread and on the first post there is a link. If any of you super cyber whizzes can do a link then please feel free. Nicky

I could never only have one thing on the go at once. I like lots of projects with different plys and needle size. Not only so I don’t get bored, but also its not as painful on the hands smile

I hadn’t thought of that. I’m sticking with one at the moment, as a novice, because I want to finish it, I don’t want to start a pile of knitted UFO’s to match the cross-stitch one.

I started a baby slipover from the free Hey Baby! book we got with the mag a while ago. But since my friend had her baby on saturday I had better get my finger out and get it finished!

hi all
i have knitted the extermiknit. its great and the pattern works with any size of yarn. just remember to increase the size of the needles to keep the tension correct. we have a black and lght blue one and he is about 45cms tall.

From reading everyone’s reply about how much knitting they have on the go at once i can now confirm that I’m NORMAL. I had always thought it was just me who started something and then spotted another pattern and started that as well . . . thank you everyone my mind is now at rest x
