If so there will be Charity Funday there on Saturday the 6th in aid of the Belper Paramedics.Im going there with a friend so we may support and have a few Sherberts!!!

I’m going to Meadhowhall this morning with darling youngest Daughter.  She did offer to drive sick so I quickly suggested going on the train, so we’ll be leaving here at 10.00.  Apart from that, we’ve no other plans for the weekend.

Yes Lois Amelia, my thoughts with you too,

Finished daughters jumper, so am going to make some more bath mitts and start a new project.

Looks like rain, so hubby will be annoyed as he wants to spray a small bit on the car.

Freya and all have gone to other Nannas at the Wirral this weekend, and are going to a safari park, which will be nice for Freya, we took her to a bird garden a few weeks ago and she was fascinated, (hope the monkeys don’t climb on the car !)

Have a nice day whatever you are doing x Janet

I’m knackered, it’s hot and Aston’s being a daft sod today.  My dad should be here in about 20 minutes to pick us up so we can go over there for the afternoon and perhaps Aston can go in the paddling pool.  That’s if I haven’t strangled him first!!!!  He’s currently wanging a toy snake about like a whip! Grrrr!

Some twit’s setting off fireworks here.  What’s the point, it’s daylight!!!  So dangerous too.

Have been doing some gardening but mostly just dossing.  I’ve got the week off work so am a lady of leisure for a while.  Hope the weather stays nice, I have more weeds than plants in the garden at the moment - it’s been too wet to do anything about them till now, but their time has come!

LOL

Loads of knitting to do and quilting and cardmaking and might throw in some housework but not too much - wouldn’t want to strain myself!

LOL LOL LOL

I’ve been in the garden all morning,in the sunshine.  It’s been lovely.  I’ve just picked up James from his dad and have realised all over again how lovely the quiet was when he wasn’t here.  Mind you, it’s so nice to have him back I don’t care how loud he is.

Him and Sam are bouncing around on the trampoline, doing their usual dumb and dumber routine, Louise is upstairs on her pc and Steve is cooking lasagne.  Not much else for me to do except knit!  I’ve restarted the shawl and am much happier.  I’m doing on 7mm needles instead of 5mm.  It still doesn’t look as beautiful as the picture on the pattern but I assume that will all have been blocked beautifully.

Made the vets appt yesterday.  Between us we mixed up the Saturday I wanted it done (planned for when there are no kids here at all and I could have laid down and wept for England).  However realised once I put the phone down it was a week later than planned, so she’s got a small reprieve.  She’s not poorly so I don’t feel like I’m being cruel, she’s just old and doddery and using the house as a toilet - which obviously isn’t good with 3 kids charging around.
