My husband was taken into hospital today, they think he may have viral menningitis. he has had a severe headache, stiff neck, high temp and has had a load of tests. he has another medical condition which means he is immune suppressed so that complicates things and he is really out of it.
I feel like crying :-(
I’m so sorry to hear that. I hope that they find out what is wrong and are able to treat him quickly. No wonder you fell like crying. Don’t hold it in, have a good cry if you need too. Big hugs.
Chris
Oh, please go and shut your bedroom door on the world and have a good long cry. When my hubby was at deaths door the doctors said they were impressed by how well I coped. HUH...they did not see the quivering bawling wreck I was when I went home. You need to stay calm and collected for your boys and hubby but if you want to cry make sure you do. It helps, believe me.!!!
I will be thinking of you.
Oh bless you hun! You hang on in there. I’m sure everything will be ok. It does make it hard when there’s a pre-existing immunological condition (I have M.E. and hypothyroidism). I hope your husband is on the mend very soon
You must feel awful, I hope he is ok, my daughter has Chrohns and she is on tablets that suppress her immunity too, it is so worrying at times,
I hope he makes a full recovery, x Janet

You have a good cry if you, but make sure you look after yourself and your children. I am sure i speak for everone on here that we will be thinking of you and your family and hope your husband gets better soon.
I really hope your husband gets better soon. I agree, it’s best to have a good cry. Trying to hold it in make you feel worse. It’s also good to talk, so feel free to post a thread whenever you want to talk. There’s lots of lovely people here to try and cheer you up.
