These were knitted in King Cole Splash.
I love the way they’ve worked out geometrically, but it’s odd that the green one is in quarters and the purple one is in thirds, especially as there are 11 repeats in the pattern.

They’ve taken me just over a day each - but I’ve not done too much housework LOL

Do two rows of a UFO to fell you’ve done something - then cast on something new, best of both worlds.

Love the way they have knitted up. I was in the wool shop today and considered buying some Splash but wasn’t sure how it would knit up, think I’ve been swayed. Bought 2 balls Freedom Spirit in Blue colours I am going to knit socks with it and out of the going cheap £1 ball 6 of Grey Glitz plus 6 of Patons coral. I have started knitting a simple cardi but as usual I have made changes. This time I am sticking to the style but adding lace panels, oh well.  I was in a charity shop (next to the bus stop at the top cross) as I was passing it to go to the wool shop and bought 7 patterns, they had lots of needles but no wool. The lady I was talking to likes to knit with bulky wool so I am giving her mine as I do not want to use it. Now there are 2 knitting magazines on sale not our beloved Lets knit but one has a book for knitted bears, and the other knitted baby things, just in case anyone is looking for ideas.
