I probably should have started here saying hello but I got distracted by another thread title.

So hello.

I mostly work on smaller projects because I’m on a tight budget and I have a short attention span.  I’ve been knitting for a very long time.  My first ever actually finished project was a Dr Who scarf when I was a teenager--it was 17 feet long.  I am currently knitting a monmouth cap from a mystery wool I found in a charity shop

I crochet badly but am trying to improve

Glad I’m not the only one.

I’m so envious ‘the others’ who knit cardigans and jumpers.

I get fed up just doing the rib.

I’m happy with knitting cakes, cosies and little baby things. I’m knitting 10 doughnuts at the moment, and some preemie hats.
