Let's Knit Magazine - Your knitting, your style

I am going to knit some Bath mitts for Xmas presents based on the octopuss that I did, I have a few balls of 100% cotton in different colours, but also have some mainly cotton with some acrylic.
Would they work as wash mitts if I used them ? I can get 100% fairly cheaply from our market but thought it would use some of my odd balls of wool up if I could use the cotton/acrylic too, x Janet

hi H knitted half a dozen and used cotton and acrylic together and they were fine, i am putting a wee bar of soap in mine and popped them in the shoeboxes for the Samaritains Purse charity I thought they were great.

First one finished no 2 on the pins !

Brilliant Wendy sent me a ball of wool and I have done two wee legs this morning.  oops forgot the ironing Again, how time flys
