Good morning everyone! I had some fantastic news yesterday evening. My s-i-l got the job he had the interview for a couple of weeks ago, so he and my daughter will be moving back to the Island. I’m so excited!!!! Last Christmas she said they were coming here fof Christmas this year, but then we didn’t know it would be for good. WOW! Sorry to be so excited.

Why be sorry, thats fantastic news, congratulations for all the family.
Good morning everyone, weather here looks a little dull this morning but they have said no rain so bed stripping shall commence very soon.
I am looking after my nephew today, the boys are very excited that he is coming to play, I don’t think I will bother too much on the housework front in view of three boys over excited and a whole shedload of toys coming off the shelves!!!!!! I think I’ll make a start on the garden instead, too tired to cut the grass yesterday.
I’m off for a quick catchup as to what you have all been up to. Speak soon.xx

Good morning everybody, rubbish weather suprise! suprise!.  Great news Chris no wonder you are excited.  Got some storage boxes before i went away to put stash in thought 6 (35 litre boxes)would be enough, Have been sorting out and photographing wool since 8.00am.  Not enough boxes and my stash is not that big.  So will go and update photos onto fliker and then go and get some more boxes, post some items, shop at asda come back and finish stuffing a bunny.  Taking advantage of my time before i have to go back to work next week.

Morning everyone....wet and horrible here in Ayrshire today (again)and I can’t see the lovely hills in front of us for the misty rain.  Haven’t much to do today so I might pop into town and pay a visit to Sue’s shop and find out when our knitting group is starting.  It was supposed to be mid September so I hope it’s after I come back from Holland.  I get back on the 10th.
Don’t know what to cast on now that I have finished baby cardi in Snuggly Bubble which looks nice but I honestly did not like knitting with it.
Well I shall flick the duster round and get out my books and patterns and choose something and maybe buy some wool....(as if I need it)but I need a pick me up....so what better way.  oh is that shouts of agreement I hear ladies ?????? raspberry Talk to you all later. x

Great news Chris, is lovely sharing that with us and I would be excited too, my son moved away and I miss him, and don’t get to see him very often, so know how you feel, as do a lot of us on here too,
Am off to pick daughter and Freya up, going to do a local town today, haven’t been before, but someone told me last night loads of charity shops, so my kind of town, hope the rain stays off, anyway have a good day,
Sounds just what you need Nessa x Janet

I hope that you had some allergy tablets on hand as this will help heal the sting quicker. I need some of those bags as I have a cupboard that scares the devil out of me, I have to pulol out so many bags to get the wool I want. Why is the one we want always at the bottom of the pile?

Great news Chris. I dread the day when my son and family go to Poland to live. DiL has asked us to go and live there as well but “HWN” would never leave his beloved Yorkshire again. LOL

Hello everybodypeeps!

Been busy, busy, busy today despite feeling crap!  Had to get my mum to come and help me yesterday evening cuz I could hardly use my hands.  I could just about hold a cup and a fork!  Bit better today thankfully although my hands and wrists still ache a bit.

Went and had my hair cut this morning.  Looks neater now, thankfully.  Aston had his hair cut too and he looks sooooooo cute!  Got him some new toys as well in the toyshop in Sittingbourne.  I used to go there when I was his age and sadly it’s closing down at the end of October - might be able to get some bargain stuff though in time for Xmas!

Anyway, wrists are getting tired now and I could do with a lay down before I have Singers tonight.

Take care all and I hope you feel better than I do!
