What sort of size are you looking for?

Sometimes if I want an unusual button I look at clothes in charity shops?

Do you live near a BOYES shop as they have some whoppers!! I was only looking at them the other day. If you want one I can get you one this week when I go to town.
They are about 2in across if I remember rightly but I can check for you.
Try Duttons for Buttons website as they have a huge selection but something very big will likely be expensive.

I have two of the three buttons that came with SK. You are welcome to mine too, which will make 5, although they may be slightly different browns. Let me know if you want them - just send a pm with address.

Hi thank you Great Wise Women one and all.

I did contact Sidar and the designer brought it in Germany! great hey. Still went to my little wool shop yesterday ( with Henri 21 months so not for long) and found not quite as big, not quite wood but a button that I hope will finish of my jacket, well when I have done a sleeve and very large collar! LOL

hi have you looked in charity shops as they have lots of odd buttons or how about making one by buying a very fat bamboo knitting needle from charity shop and sawing it to required lengh and use it like a bun pin i have done this a couple of times and it looks great. x
