Hi Gill and Anne....just saw my name mentioned and thought I would investigate. I haven’t been on hardly over the last two or three days as we have been visiting some of Bill’s family in different parts of the country and then we got the sad new yesterday morning that his cousin had died. She was only 54 and was diagnosed with cancer just two and a half months ago...so she didn’t get long after her diagnosis. She was a bus driver and such a hearty girl.....everyone loved her and her sense of humour with the passengers. Her funeral is on Friday.
Oher than that we are just muddling along and enjoying our new car which we picked up on Friday night in Glasgow. Bill is real chuffed with it.
I hope everyone is well....I haven’t had time to go through all the threads but I will try tomorrow when I have more time.
Think I’ll have an early night as last night is the first night that I have slept well....so here’s hoping tonight will be the same.
Anne I am hoping to be at the Knit club in Sue’s shop and will have to check when she’s starting it as I am off to Holland again on 3rd September to give them a hand with the move of house.

Thanks so much everyone for your nice words. We went to visit her husband today...and he’s just in a daze. I don’t think Janette’s death has hit him. She really was such a live wire and if you were in her company you could be sure she would have you laughing at all her stories from her work as a bus driver. I know a lot of her passengers will miss her for her cheery nature...and she always had a nice word for the old folks gettting on her bus. Although I only met Bill twelve years ago I have known Janette his cousin since we were kids as she came from the same village as me. Her older sister and I were in the same class at school....and then when I met Bill found out the girls were cousins of his....so his auntie (their mum) became my auntie then too.....
I haven’t been on today....don’t know if it was the news of J’s death or not but I have been very out of sorts all day and can’t seem to settle to anything...so girls I may be on and off here tonight as I don’t have the energy for much. Nessa I think we stay in a small world? I know Marlyn .who I think was Jeanettes sister and Marlyn mum for the life of me I can’t remember her surname. I was Marlyns grannies hairdresser and went and did her hair every thursday, could that be right. I was speaking to Marlyn and she told me her sister wasn’t well.
