Hi all and thanks for the Anniversary wishes, and back again to those who are also celebrating.

I have got an armful of wool, hooray (hubby says, personally I can take it or leave it!!) He just whacked me and said take it back and get a refund then!  I got four balls of Regia Sock wool (sorry GG) and to be honest can’t even remember the colours.  Had a lovely lunch/dinner at a Beefeater near home.  IF I think of it I will take pics of the wool so you can see colours.  Gotta go - jeans are busting at the seams and I want to go relax with some knitting!

REFUND !!!! silly person, he obviously not understand the lure of wool at all does he grin I’m beginning to feel a bit like a drug dealer smuggling my stash in the house and up the stairs when he isn’t around, luckily he doesn’t go in the loft too often and there is a curtain ín front of it as well wink x Janet

Like I said on the other thread, when I opened the wardrobe in our guest bedroom ready for dads arrival a load of wool and patterns fell out on me!  But we had a lovely weekend, and thank you all for the “Happy Anniversary” wishes.

ooh what shades?  I bought one which is reds blues and greens and one which is greys white and reds.  Two of each.

My friend recently made herself and her two daughters tank tops from sock wool.  They looked particularly impressive and were super soft and had a lovely drape to them.

Shades of blues and greens. Might make a little something for Gina or Liti.

Ooh yes Suse I can see funky little gloves!  Keeping the extremities covered eh!  Great idea.  Not actually tried knitting gloves yet tho!  Oops another thing to add to the ever increasing “things to try” list!
