Anyone miss me Computer got a nasty virus, one masquerading as Windows anti-virus, (thankfully have learned not to click on anything now until get hubbys permission ) Took him a good while to get rid of it, plus decorating didn’t really have the time to sit and sort it.
Annoying thing is that we have all the anti-virus stuff, spyware, adware etc, but it still got through, am tempted to ban eldest gdaughter from it, as she was on it at weekend and she goes on all sorts, and downloads stuff when we have told her not to !!
Anyway stairs now finished and I’m having a break from decorating now, for a week or so anyway, (we’ve run out of paint anyway x Janet

Who ever makes these virus’s need to have thier hands chopped off with a blunt axe.  I’d thought you were quiet.

I got a virus about a 2weeks ago and like you I have all the anti virus stuff, but they were not good enough, and all cos my eldest son and stepson were downloading stuff from limewire and other stuiped sites for music for the phones…
I lost everything I had on pc, but thank God I had back-ups of my stuff, and it tookme 5hrs to clean pc and reinstall windows ect, now I’ve got better protection from norton and son/step-son not allowed on my computer, so they can use their own lap-top.

Yes, it’s really annoying. We often gets messages with links that are virus. I never open any links that are sent to me on msn, skype or e-mail unless I am 100% sure that it’s safe.

I just thought you were busy wielding the paint brushes!!!!

I can think of lots of others who should have their hands (and other bits) chopped off with blunt instruments. But this is a knitting forum so let’s not go there!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, I don’t know........we have had a gorgeous day here. I got some washing dry and i forgot to put it out till late. We have been in the garden, pottering, it has been lovely and is forcast to be the same tomorrow. 

we have had bright cloud....but its not a holiday weekend anyway, ours is in september!
