I am from the Shetland Islands, Scotland my name is Ingrid and i have been busy knitting for a couple of years now. What actually got me started was to put items into the local show. I had 5 items of knitting in this year and 4 won prizes (one 1st, two seconds and a third).

Yes you can get Shetland wool here - I am in the process of making an evening shawl with 2 ply shetland wool.Photos of my winners are in the other forum sections.
