Did you get the sock magazine from lets knit? Try the library as I go there if I run out of ideas though between, here Ravelry and Busy mitts its not as often as it esed to be. Try and find out when your local library is updating there books as they sell off the ones they no longer need, I have gotten 1-2 books that way. I keep sayinf I am going to do socks, I AM going to do socks. How can you say socks are a quick knit? If in your local charity shop ask if they have any patterns as I got a pattern that has different sock lengths, french heel, dutch heel and goodness knows what, it has vests, I mean all the stuff granny used to knit.
