Let's Knit Magazine - Your knitting, your style

I’ve been contacted by a lady called Val who’s looking for a group in the Ramsgate area as well as some decent wool shops!  If there isn’t a group in her area, she’s willing to set one up.

I’m sure there must be some other occupants of Kent’s coastal towns out there in cyberspace so please could you let me know if you know of any groups/shops in the area and if not, would you be interested in helping Val form a group?

That’s my neck of the woods - sorry, i don’t know of any knitting groups but would also be interested in finding one!

Shops are limited, too. Janz in Grange Rd does some basics and will order Sirdar and probably Patons and Rowan in for you if you know what you want. C&H;Fabrics in Canterbury have a wider selection. I must admit I tend to get my yarn at shows and on the internet and wish that we still had some of the lovely yarn shops I remember visiting with my Gran.
