Surely I’m not the only one in the Dundee area who knits.  Does anyone know of/want to form a knitting group...please, I need another excuse to indulge myself.

I’m the only one in Aberdeen, here, but I’ve just discovered there’s a group that meets in the Belmont cinema. I may take my sock and go!

Yes, doesn’t bring up much though only one is 2pm on a thursday - no good with little ones.  I’ll keep looking though

You could always start your own group as there are probably other young mums in the same predicament. Nell has just joined from Montrose, maybe you could try a meeting halfway at Arbroath?

Hey. there is indeed a knitting group in Dundee. Its “Knits” at Borders, 6:30 - 8:00, every Wednesday evening. I’ve not been myself but saw it this evening when I popped in. Might see you there.

Are there any good yarn shops in Dundee?  I’m up there fairly regularly and will be up in a couple of weeks time.

I use the one on Albert Street called the Knitting Pin - it’s only a wee shop quite near the top, in between Park Avenue and Cardean Street if that helps, but it is packed with stuff - they’ve got everything from bargain wool to expensive stuff, and the couple who run it , Moira and Raymond, are great with any queries you have.  Hope you have a good time when you’re here
