I gave my daughter Merde and Bordeux Housewives to read while they were in France, but she said she could hardly sit on a beach reading them, I didn’t see why not !!! x Janet

Ha Ha Janet well I read both of them there have you read them, Merde was so funny and Bordeux Housewife mentions our town in the first few pages which was bizzare!

Yes I’ve read both of them and the follow up to Merde, I think it’s called In the Merde again, lol, they were both good books .
Just finished reading both Gill McGill books, Needles and Pearls etc they were good, am waiting for the postcard from the library telling me The Friday Night Knitting Club has arrived in our local library, x Janet

Hi Janet I took the Gill McGill books to France have left them with my dil to read then I will read them when I am next over there lol I always say that but never seem to have a minute, try to spend as much time with Sebastien and has he is nearly 2 that does not allow much reading or knitting time! I read the follow on Merde again but did not think it was quite as good as the first.

Just started Knit one Kill two by Maggie Sefton have you read any of hers, the yarn shop in it sounds to die for. x Carol

Will put that one on the list, picked up Friday NIght Knitting club yesterday but haven’t started reading it yet, x janet

Finished this last week, was a really good book, would recommend it to anyone ! x Janet
