Does anyone have the Sirdar Raymond Briggs’ “The Snowman” pattern (designed by Alan Dart) that I could borrow?  The snowman’s made in Sirdar Snowflake Chunky and Country Style DK for hat/scarf etc.

Bearing in mind half of the patterns on ebay seem to be among some forum members’ collections, I thought I’d check here before I go buying one!

Hmmmm… A legend in my own lunchtime!  Someone said I’m in Simply Knitting as well this month.  I’ll have to look when it comes out on 14th.  I did a bit for Knit Today as well!  Eek!  Talk about saturation!

Want to make The Snowman for my son for Xmas.  He loves the film so the toy would go down a treat.

I did have a snowman many moons ago with a jumper too.  Will have a look tomorrow for you to see if it is in one of my files.  Mum may have it.  She did it for my son and it is now up in the loft!  Anyway will look.

May have this one.  Will have a look - but my knitting patterns are in such a mess may take a while! I’m sure I knitted this some time ago.  As I said, I will have a look and see if I can find it.

LOL

Sash

PS:  Do you need it urgently?

Not desperately urgently Sash but I would like to add it to my list of things to knit for Xmas presents!  Got plenty to be getting on with though.

I found it BUT it is for a glove puppet - not an actual complete snowman.  I must have misremembered the pattern.  However, I don’t think it would be too difficult to adapt it to have legs.  Let me know if you would like the pattern and I will see if I can scan/e-mail it to you.

I FOUND IT! I FOUND IT! I FOUND IT! After tearing the house apart for the better part of 3 hours I finally found the pattern for the Snowman.  It came to me that I HAD knitted the toy itself and then used the leftovers for the glove puppet so knew I had it somewhere!  It was just a cast of finding it!!!

So if you PM me your e-mail address I’ll try and e-mail it to you.  If not, let me have your post address and I’ll send it.  Yeeeeeehaaaaaa!
