Hey ladies!

Just something simple I was knitting when I was working, my mum loves dolphins so I used a dishcloth pattern to make it into a pillow cover, there are just blue and white stripes on the back you might be able to see them and I managed (very slowly and painfully LOL) to add a zip to it! She liked it a lot and said she’d never knit it, i’ve tried to persuade her to take it up but she thinks she cant do it and I wouldnt mind but she taught me to basics when I was little! hmmm

Well done Natalie....the pillow is lovely. Pit your mum won’t take it up again....but I’ll bet you’re glad she taught you the basics and now there is no end to what you can do..... grin ..and getting the zip into the pillow is not all that easy...so well done all round.

Or you could knit your mum a jumper with a dolphin on.

oooo your giving me ideas now!! smile

but with the way the jumper is going at the moment just getting the shaping right would be an achievement LOL i’ve had to re-do it twice now today I forgot I was doing the bigger size and shaped the shoulders off using the small size instead of the bigger one when I ripped it back I didnt know what I was doing so I ripped the whole thing back and started again.. *sigh* this jumper business is hard work! But i’m hoping once I get it there’ll be no stopping me LOL

Thanx for the idea Cheryl! smile I hope one day i’ll manage it!
