Good morning, going to be another scorcher.  Just a shame that I’ve to go to work, by the time I get home it’s too late to soak up the sun.  Never mind, it will probably be too hot to knit this afternoon anyway.

If it’s anything like yesterday it will certainly be too hot to knit!  I NEARLY gave up… But I’m a trooper!!!!  Braved on.  Then it was time to get dinner going so not so bad smile

Luckily we get the sea breezes here which keep it bearable. But I am enjoying some decent weather at last. Just wish we could be sure it was going to last till the weekend. Our carnival starts on Saturday with a steam parade through town. I will also be on a float and don’t fancy getting wet while in fancy dress costume.

Pretty warm here in Ipswich today!

Planning on walking to baby clinic with Luke, then a bit of work and some knitting tonight.  Oh and looking after baby inbetween all that! LOL!

Its not supposed to be very good here on Saturday, near Peterborough, but I hope it will be fine for you in your part of the world!

However, Donna, the weather for August looks good ... on the long range forecast, fingers crossed!
Not sure what I’m up to ... coffee first then poodle around for a bit!

Leigh

I gave up trying to iron because it was so hot.  I sat down with my knitting instead.

It’s already blisteringly hot at work today.  I’ve got a fan on, but can’t open the window as we have a chinese take away on one side, a fish and chip shop and a kebab shop on the other side so the smell is horrible from lunchtime onwards.

GOOD MORNING ALL.

I am not doing much today......as usual. “HWN” wants to sort out No1s’ shed roof. That means me standing holding my breath waiting for him to fall off, gulp All I ever get from him is.."it was an accident”..my reply is always..."yes, I know, I married it”.
I am amazed we are still married after all these years LOL

Whatever you are all doing, enjoy....if you like it...you can do it again tomorrow tongue wink tongue wink

Good morning everyone, lazy morning so far, it wasn’t intended but boys were both up a lot last night so I didn’t sleep too well. I thought to myself at 7am when hubby went to work I’ll get up in a minute and dressed straight away to put me more in the mood for doing some back garden jobs....... next thing I knew it was 20 to 9 and Max was waking me up!!!! I’m still in my nightie now eating my brekkie after a mammoth phone convo with my SIL both moaning about our hubbies. I do need to get the back grass cut before it gets too hot so I will have to make a move soon. Back grass is a big job, the garden is bigger than it looks in the photos and moving climbing frames etc is a pain in the backside.
Enough moaning, hope you all have a lovely day and that the sun comes out. It is hot and muggy in Brum with the sun peeking out from behind the clouds in short bursts. I’m off for a mega quick catch up and then to do some jobs.
