My dad has size 11 feet - I made him some socks.  Didn’t actually take that long to do.  As far as I know he still hasn’t worn them cuz he doesn’t want to ruin them!  Daft sod!

Suse they’re lush!  Self striping or did you have to do the hard work yourself?  I have knitted a couple of pairs and did enjoy it - but have to say I cheated.  The lady who runs our knitting club devised a pattern which uses a circular needle rather than the DPNS.  Sash I agree they are SUPER portable, but the thing I REALLY love my knitted socks for - is the size of my feet.  I only in a kiddies 13.  (Stop sniggering at the back!) But knitting my own means I can try them on as I go so they are custom fit.  Which is great for me!!

If anyone wants me to email them a copy of the pattern I will gladly do so if you PM me.  Gotta find it first cos not knitted socks for a few months now....!

you should be called Cinderella!

The socks are in a Regia yarn, wool/cotton mix and are self striping. I haven’t got the nerve to do complicated socks yet.
