Hi all.
walked up to the carboot sale 3 miles there and 3 miles back, no busses run there on a sunday its like being in the middle of the country side only the sheep to talk to. did get 500grms of Patons camelot in peach, not sure if its d/k it dosn’t say on the ball band, but loved the colour and 250 grms of Sirdar silky look in ice coral and that was only £1 for both and a Sharon Welch’s toy knitting book for £1, theres a really nice baby doll pattern in there and clothes to knit as well. a little breakdown truck and police car for my grandson that was only 30p, then the heavens opened and did it rain got soaked nowhere to shelter in the middle of a field, but it was well worth getting wet for the bargains.

Hey Donna you should go for your driving lessons. Never to late look at me started motorbike lessons in May and due to sit my test in a couple of weeks and if I fail I am going to try again.  I love it i’m 41 and my hubby is delighted that we can share a new hobby.  I was fed up being left at home when my son jumped on the back and i’m left to do the dishes.  The guys in the bike training call me Barbie because I’ve got the tinist bike (god never gave me long legs)but hey they are really nice to me.  Go for it. cool grin

I get all fired up about doing it, then see some idiot nearly kill someone on the roads, and it puts me off! Walked to town, bout 2 or more miles, couldnt wait for an hour for a bus, and it made my backache a bit better, and got lots of yarn too!

morning all, thought I would be the first to say good morning, weather wise I haven’t a clue cos it’s 2.17am and I’m still wide awake AGAIN!!!

Anyway I hope the morning will be bright and beautiful for Sunday........

ps..
I posted more pic on blog....

Sorry you are not well, Sheila. Igave up on the site at 12.15am as it was being very contrary. That time always goes wrong as I think that must be when it re-jigs things.
I love the elephants on your blog, they are sooo cute. Do you give them to anyone in particular???

The poem is beautiful but very sad at the same time. Life can be sh&&& at times for most people but being able to rise above it is wonderful.

I hope you get better soon.x

thanks for complements on elephants and no I just them for anyone who wants them, hubby was saying the other day that the house is overcome by toys, and i need to do something about it,like stop(fat chance)lol
I was looking for a charity or something to send them too,any idea’s…

Am waiting for Freya to arrive,
Had a lovely afternoon with Gill and her hubby, she showed me how to pick up stitches, isn’t it easy once someone shows you !!! Hubby enjoyed trip out too, nattering away to Gills hubby, called at Mc Donalds on way back, then when we got near home lane was blocked by car, and a lad jumped out and legged it, just, managed to get past, phoned police, and reported it, went back to get reg no, and it had gone, he must have come back and taken it again grrrr wish had got number first time round.

Thanks Gill for all the goodies too x Janet

You are welcome. Do like I do and have a disposable camera in the glove compartment of your car. Very handy in case of accidents and young men blocking roads!!!

I would love a PINK one. I come to Donny quite often, I could meet you in WOODS and treat you to coffee and a bun in exchange. LOL
