Let's Knit Magazine - Your knitting, your style

Got 8 balls of this in Dunelm, 99p a ball, couldnt resist, but have no idea of what to do with it, short of tying up annoying members of my family who talk when I knit and I go wrong!

Hey, what a great bargain!  Have a look on Ravelry for projects done in that yarn and that should give you some ideas - someone’s knitted a bikini top!

If I went out in a cotton braid bikini top, I’d probably get arrested!! For damage to peoples eyesight, its a pity knitting doesnt help you lose weight, cant knit and exercise at the same time! Will have a look on Ravelry and see what I can find, thanks for your help

AAHH but knitting can help you lose weight because if you keep those needles going then you can’t get your fingers in the biccie tin at the same time!!!!!

True, true, when my back gets better I will be able to do a bit more (or not!). Hurt it moving a huge cupboard the other half was supposed to do ages ago! Ho hum, knitting helped it not hurt so much

Think all men must be the same! And thats after him saying to me that I do too much knitting and not enough tidying!!! How he still lives is a mystery to me, and the 20mm needle that nearly got put where it shouldnt! Have bagged up 30 bin bags of stuff for charity in last 2 months, mostly my stuff, being ruthless!

Just had a look at the bikini, oh dear! WAAYYY too small for me, I’d need about 3 times as many balls of yarn!
