Have any of you downloaded any patterns that you have to pay for from Ravlery.
Do you have to have Paypal to do this?
I think I must be the only person not to have Paypal, but I never buy anything from Ebay.
Any advice on this subject anyone.
Thanks

Yes I have downloaded the free one, or saved them.
I also wondered what exchange rate people got, as the price for them is in dollars.

Not to worry, maybe someone else knows.
I just wondered how it all worked.
Thanks for trying to help.

With how strong the pound is it’s bound to be a good price.

I’m on Ravelry but haven’t a clue about what you’re asking.  I have never downloaded any patterns yet…

You don’t have to be on ebay to use paypal, I’ve paid for wool using paypal, you sign up and it is a safe secure site, (look for padlock) basically it takes money from your card, and then transfers it safe and securely, it’s quite easy to use once you get the hang of it x Janet

I’d expect that the exchange rate that paypal would use would be the rate applicable on the day the transaction hits your paypal account and I’d guess it’d be pretty close to the advertised “tourist” rates.  Have a look at the Travelex website for an indication of the current exchange rate.

Paypal gives you the daily rate before u confirm payment...I use paypal in loads of places..so much better than having my credit crad input here there and everywhere. Over the years as well, any dispute I have had with a site or business or ebay seller has been dealt with quickly and fairly by paypal.
